Annual events in São Brás
- Carnival in February
- Festa das Tochas Floridas (Flower torches festival) - Easter Sunday. People flock to São Brás to join in this religious celebration where the road is paved with flowers and the people carry 'flower torches' as a procession passes through the streets to celebrate the Resurrection
- Popular Saints festivities during evenings in June
- Feira da Serra - last weekend in July. A major event in São Brás with lots of musical entertainment until the early hours and local crafts and foods to sample.
- Feira e Festa the first Sunday in September - entertainment and craftwork fair, next to the Market building.

- Market in São Brás de Alportel: Every Saturday in the grounds of the Parque de Feiras.
- Flea market in São Brás de Alportel: 3rd Sunday of the month, near the school EB2 from 08.30 to 14.00.
- Market in Loulé: every Saturday at the end of R. da Nossa Senhora da Piedade, in front of the Convento de St. António, on the exit from the town for Boliqueime/Albufeira.
- Market in Moncarapacho: 1st Sunday of the month next to Rua das Olarias.
